RAMAYANA BALLET , the classic Hindu tale of honour, magic and courage.


Ramayana Ballet is based on the epic of Ramayana, which it's story is depicted on the wall of Prambanan tample, the show tells about the fight between the evil symbolized by Rahwana, malicious king of Alengka and the good, represented by Sri Rama, Price of Ayodyapala.
The entire story is presented in a series of dance movements done by dancers, Gamelan orchestra is also played to make the show even more entertaining by gamelan music. There is no dialog among the dancers. The Ramayana Ballet is basically a dramatic performance that beautifully tells the story of Ramayana and mainly about Rama who was a legendary Hindu king or can also be said as incarnation of god. Indonesian version of it depicts the Javanese culture.
